Dear Delegates,

"The one common undertaking and universal instrument of the great majority of the human race is the United Nations. A patient, constructive long-term use of its potentialities can bring a real and secure peace to the world. " ~ Trygve Lie (Former Secretary-General, United Nations)

The United Nations has stood strong with the reins of Global diplomacy in hand. Its influence has prevented countless wars and even today, it continues to be the pioneer in promoting world peace, eradicating global hunger, addressing the most pressing environmental plight and leading the world during this pandemic.

It is our duty as future leaders to comprehend, opine and find solutions for these situations. It is our responsibility as young diplomats to come together even in these trying times to not forget the world and its complications.

It is an honour to present to you the 9th edition of the Annual World Summit. A two-day virtual conference specially articulated for the needs of all delegates. Each committee has been designed for future diplomats like you to simulate intelligent and constructive debate. The committees are United Nations Security Council (UNSC), Disarmament and International Security Committee (DISEC), United Nations Human Rights Council (UNHRC), United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC), United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP), Indian Parliament (IP), European Union (EU) and The International Criminal Police Organization (INTERPOL). The committees are modelled along the lines of the UNA - USA Rules of Procedure and will be chaired by talented students of JNS, who will facilitate thought-provoking discussions.

We are also thrilled to announce a special crisis committee, called the Council of the Elite, which will be headed by the Secretariat. The deliberations for the same would happen after the conference of the first day, where the best delegates from each committee will be selected to articulate their views on pertinent issues.

We call all you leaders of tomorrow to use your voices to create change, to demand what is truly yours, to fight for your beliefs and to use the power of your opinions to fuel thrilling discussions that will decide the fate of our planet and humanity as a whole. We invite you to deliberate, to opine, research, synergize, collaborate, strategize, and most importantly - find solutions to the issues we are all so passionate about.

We invite you to Come. See. Conquer.
