Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Is there a stipulated amount of experience required to participate in AWS?

A: No, it is not mandatory to have experience to participate in AWS. In fact we encourage first time MUNners to take part in large numbers.


Q: Who is eligible to take part in AWS?

A: Junior College and Senior Secondary students, i.e, students of Grade 11 and 12 are eligible to participate in AWS.


Q: When and where will AWS be held?

A: AWS will be held on the 2nd, 3rd and 4th of August, 2019 at Jamnabai Narsee School in Juhu, Mumbai.


Q: Will certificates be provided to winners or participants as well?

A: Certificates of participation will be provided to everyone who attends all sessions on all three days of the conference. Certificates will also be awarded to the winners.


Q: What materials are to be carried for AWS?

A: A delegate kit comprising a notepad, pen and schedule will be provided. The delegates will also be provided breakfast, lunch and snacks during the conference days. Laptops are allowed.


Q: How are we supposed to register and pay for AWS?

A: The fee for AWS is Rs. 3500/-. Click here to register and pay for AWS online.


Q: Do Double delegation registrants have to pay twice?

A: All delegates have to pay. In case of double delegation (UNSC and UNODC) - each delegate has to pay separately.


Q: What is the appropriate attire for AWS?

A: Western formal wear (No skirts, tights, jeans, dresses or sleeveless clothes will be allowed).
