What is the Annual World Summit?
The Annual World Summit (AWS) is a prestigious academic simulation of international diplomacy hosted by Jamnabai Narsee School - ISC, where students engage in rigorous debate on global issues.
Who can participate in AWS 2026?
The conference is open to student delegates from secondary schools and junior colleges.
However, junior committee eligibility is exclusive for students of Grades 9 & 10 in Jamnabai Narsee School.
Where will the summit be held?
AWS 2026 will be hosted at the Jamnabai Narsee School campus in Mumbai. Detailed venue information is available on the Venue page.
What is the dress code for the conference?
Western formal wear (Except for All India Political Parties Meet (AIPPM) which requires Indian formal wear). Blazers and ties are compulsory.
Kindly Note: No dresses, skirts or sleeveless clothing will be permitted.
Footwear must be closed-toe, formal and appropriate.
How are committees assigned?
Committees are allocated based on the delegate's preferences stated in the registration form and their previous MUN experience, ensuring a balanced and high-quality debate.
How are topics selected for AWS?
The topics for the conference are selected by the organizing committee based on current global issues, trends, and events.
How can delegates prepare for AWS?
Delegates can prepare for AWS by researching their country's policies, understanding the global issues at hand (study guides will be provided) and practising their public speaking, negotiation and resolution writing skills.
Is there a stipulated amount of experience required to participate in AWS?
No, it is not mandatory to have MUN experience to participate in AWS. In fact, we encourage first-time MUNners to be a part of the event.
Will certificates be provided to winners or participants as well?
Certificates of Participation will be provided to everyone who attends all the sessions on both days of the conference.
Certificates of Merit will also be awarded to the winners.
What materials should be carried to AWS?
The conference schedule which will be uploaded on the website should be kept handy.
Laptops may be carried for research and reference.
